Two drifts, two quality fish! The Dream Stream was fishing well. I heard tell of the inlet to Elevenmile being crowded and not many fish being brought to the net. The closer to the dam I got, the better the fishing. Midge patterns defiantly won the day with the most productive patterns being a size 20 FB Black Beauty, Top Secret Midge, and small midge emergers. Look for fish holding in deep pockets. Let your eyes adjust and you'll see movement.
Tough day on the Blue River but I was able to land a quality fish before the crowds of fisherman arrived.
A short montage of trout being released back into the South Platte River...just because.
The release of a nice South Platte River Bow.
Great footage of a large group of late spawning brown trout during a November 2012 fly fishing trip in Colorado.
